**Location:** Remote - Ohio **Department:** HR Talent Acquisition **Weekly Hours:** 40 **Status:** Full time **Shift:** Days (United States of America) **Job Summary:** We're looking for a detail-oriented and people-focused **O** **nboarding Coordinator** to join our Talent Acquisition (TA) team. In this role, you'll play a key part in creating a smooth, compliant, and welcoming onboarding experience for new hires and internal transfers. You'll coordinate and track all pre-employment requirements - from background checks and I-9 verification to professional license validation and occupational health clearance - ensuring everything is complete before a team member's first day. Working closely with Human Resources (HR), TA, Employee Health, and department leaders, you'll help maintain compliance, accuracy, and a positive candidate experience every step of the way. This role is **remote** but requires **weekly on-site presence** at **The Toledo Hospital.** Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the hospital. **Required Qualifications** + Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. High school diploma and 2 years directly related HR, Recruitment, or Onboarding experience may be considered **in lieu of a degree.** + 1-3 years of customer service experience in a high-volume environment. + Must reside within commuting distance to **Toledo Hospital** for weekly on-site work. + Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. + Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality. **Preferred Qualifications** + 1-3 years of experience in HR, onboarding, or healthcare compliance preferred. + Working knowledge of employment eligibility verification (I-9/E-Verify), healthcare credentialing, and pre-employment health requirements. + Familiarity with HRIS/ATS platforms and document management systems. + Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and communication skills. + Ability to manage multiple onboarding processes in a fast-paced healthcare environment. **ProMedica** is a mission-driven, not-for-profit health care organization headquartered in Toledo, Ohio.
