**Job Title: Heavy Civil Equipment Operator**

This role is crucial for operating and maintaining heavy machinery used in the construction of infrastructure projects, as well as ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely. **Key Responsibilities:**
- Operate heavy equipment including but not limited to backhoes, bulldozers, loaders, skid steers, excavators, and graders in alignment with safety standards and project specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and team members to execute projects effectively.
- Interpret and follow site plans and technical drawings to perform tasks accurately.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to company policies and safety regulations.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisors promptly.
- Document and record equipment operation activities, inspections, and maintenance as required.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator in a civil construction environment.
- Valid certification and/or licenses to operate heavy machinery.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols related to heavy equipment operation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, maps, and technical documents.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and precision in operating complex machinery.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and strength to handle and operate heavy equipment for extended periods.
- Effective communication skills to work as part of a team and report to supervisors.
