The legacy of Grandview Café is not only defined by the adaptability of our team and the consistency in our leadership, but in how we treat everyone who walks through our doors. We are looking for a motivated Bar Supervisor to join our team!

As a Bar Supervisor you’ll act as the shift leader for the bar (both from behind and out front of the bar), supporting the Bar Manager/General Manager and guiding bartenders and support staff through their shifts. You’ll help manage daily operations, maintain a high standard of service, and keep the bar organized and clean. This is an hourly leadership position with opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise team members during shifts, providing support and direction.
• Ensure guests receive excellent service in a timely, friendly manner.
• Assist with training new bartenders.
• Maintain shift checklists, bar set up, and closing duties.
• Maintain inventory levels at the bars and communicate needs to Bar Manager.
• Uphold compliance with alcohol service laws, health, and safety regulations.
• Bartend during peak volume periods.
• Assist in handling guest concerns and resolving issues quickly.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a bartender, lead bartender, or shift supervisor
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and bar operations
• Dependable, organized, and a team player
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed
