Welder/Fabricator
We are seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator with strong skills in MIG and TIG welding on mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel . The ideal candidate must be able to read and interpret blueprints and perform accurate layout and fabrication work according to specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG and TIG welding to fabricate parts from mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel .
Interpret and work from engineering blueprints and drawings .
Use fabrication equipment such as brake press, shear, and plate roller as needed.
Ensure quality welds that meet project specifications and industry standards.
Set up and adjust welding equipment appropriately for each job.
Identify appropriate wire alloys and gas mixes for various welding applications.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in a metal fabrication environment.
Proficient in MIG welding with a solid understanding of welding procedures.
Ability to identify steel alloys and understand proper weld procedures and gas mix usage.
Competent in setting up and adjusting welding machines.
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in MIG welding (steel, stainless, and aluminum) and TIG welding .
Skilled in operating fabrication machinery such as brake, shear, and plate roller .
Strong understanding of material properties and welding techniques.
