Job Description

Position Overview: As an Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations by accurately and efficiently fulfilling customer orders. You will be responsible for selecting and preparing items for shipment, ensuring that they are properly packaged and labeled to meet quality standards. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize pick lists and handheld devices to locate and pick items from designated locations within the warehouse.
• Ensure accuracy in selecting the correct quantity and type of items for each order.
• Verify product information and quality before packaging for shipment.
• Pack items securely, using appropriate packaging materials and techniques to prevent damage during transit.
• Label packages accurately with shipping information, including customer addresses and tracking numbers.
• Organize picked orders for efficient staging and loading onto delivery trucks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
• Collaborate with other warehouse team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and handheld scanners.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing orders.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Basic math skills for counting and verifying quantities.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) on a regular basis.
• Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and overtime as needed.
