Job Description

Description Robert Half's client is looking for a proactive and dedicated Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In this role, you will oversee the complete recruitment cycle, ensuring smooth and effective hiring processes while building a diverse and talented workforce. This is a contract-to-permanent position, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to organizational growth and employee success. Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, 100% onsite. Responsibilities: - Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, extending offers, and facilitating pre-employment screenings. - Ensure a seamless candidate experience by presenting and discussing job offers professionally while adhering to company policies. - Utilize applicant tracking systems and HR software to maintain accurate records, monitor candidate progress, and generate detailed recruitment reports. - Represent the organization at career fairs and networking events to establish a robust talent pipeline. - Collaborate with staffing agencies to address contingent staffing requirements as needed. - Process and submit all new employee paperwork promptly and accurately to support onboarding efforts. - Promote diversity recruitment initiatives by implementing equitable hiring practices and partnering with relevant officers. - Stay informed of industry trends and best practices to enhance sourcing strategies and recruitment processes. - Assist in developing and refining recruitment policies and procedures to align with organizational goals and compliance standards. - Perform additional duties as assigned to support the Human Resources team. Requirements - Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships internally and externally. - Demonstrated expertise in sourcing strategies for a variety of roles and levels. - Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and drive recruitment results. - Proven commitment to fostering diversity within the workforce and sourcing talent from varied candidate pools. - Solid understanding of employment laws and regulations related to hiring and recruitment. - Minimum of three years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition roles. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience working with applicant tracking systems.
