About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Manager of SEO to lead our organic search strategy and execution. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive SEO roadmap that drives significant organic traffic growth and contributes to Apollo.io's revenue goals. This is a high-impact role where you'll have the opportunity to own and scale our SEO program, leveraging your expertise in technical SEO, content strategy, and programmatic SEO.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement a data-driven SEO strategy that aligns with Apollo’s business objectives, driving significant organic traffic and user acquisition.
  • Conduct regular technical SEO audits, identify and resolve technical issues, and ensure our website is optimized for crawlability, indexability, and performance.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to scale our SEO efforts through automation, content templating, and efficient content production workflows.
  • Collaborate with the content team to develop and implement a content strategy that aligns with SEO goals, ensuring high-quality, optimized content.
  • Develop and execute a link-building strategy to increase domain authority and improve organic rankings.
  • Track key SEO metrics, analyze data to identify trends and opportunities, and provide regular reports to stakeholders on SEO performance and progress.
  • Continuously research and stay up-to-date on the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, engineering, and sales, to ensure alignment and maximize SEO impact.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in SEO, with a proven track record of success in driving organic traffic growth and achieving SEO goals, ideally within a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Deep understanding of all facets of SEO, including technical, on-page, off-page, and content strategy.
  • Strong experience with programmatic SEO, including keyword clustering, content templating, and automated content generation.
  • Expertise in using SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs/SEMrush, and others.
  • Experience in developing and executing international SEO strategies, including website localization, hreflang implementation, and multilingual keyword research.
  • Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to extract insights from data and translate them into actionable strategies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate SEO concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

The listed Pay Range reflects base salary range, except for sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commission/sales bonus targets and annual base salary for the role. This pay range may be inclusive of several career levels at Apollo and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.

Annual Pay Range

$160,000—$170,000 USD
