70K - 80K

The Role

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in supporting the organization’s financial operations. You’ll handle journal entries, reconciliations, prepaid schedules, and serve as backup for payroll (training provided). This position reports to Arecia and works closely with the CFO, VP of Finance, Controller, and broader accounting team.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and post journal entries; maintain general ledger accuracy
  • Assist with month-end close and reconciliations
  • Support payroll functions as a backup when needed
  • Manage prepaid schedules and other accounting schedules
  • Collaborate with finance leadership and team members to ensure timely, accurate reporting

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of accounting experience (nonprofit experience strongly preferred)
  • Solid understanding of general ledger processes and GAAP
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups required)
  • Experience with Sage Intacct or similar ERP systems (training provided)
  • Reliable, steady work ethic — a “steady eddy” professional who values consistency and quality

Work Schedule

  • Onsite 4 days per week
  • Flexible hours — typical 8-hour day (e.g., 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.)
