As a **Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol** in **Santa Clara, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more . As an unarmed patrol officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, interacting with employees and visitors, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This role is focused on maintaining a positive presence and supporting a collaborative workplace culture. **Position Type: Full Time** **Pay Rate: $27.10 / Hour** **Job Schedule:** **Day** **Time** Mon04:00 AM - 12:00 PM Tue04:00 AM - 12:00 PM Wed04:00 AM - 12:00 PM Thur04:00 AM - 12:00 PM Fri04:00 AM - 12:00 PM **Responsibilities:** + Provide customer service to clients and employees by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the manufacturing and industrial location. + Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. + Document and report any security-related incidents or unusual observations encountered during patrols. + Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site policies. + Communicate with site management and local authorities as needed during incidents or emergencies. **Minimum Requirements:** + At least 1 year of security experience is required. + CA Guard Card is required. + Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred. + A valid Guard Card or security license is preferred. + Customer service experience is preferred. + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. + A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. **Perks and Benefits:** + Health insurance and 401k plans for full-time positions + Schedules that fit with your personal life goals + Ongoing paid training programs and career growth opportunities + Employee discounts through our perks program to your favorite restaurants, entertainment venues, and much more...
