**Position Overview:**
As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the highest level of care. Your contributions will directly impact patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes, making this position essential to our practice.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Welcome patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor upon their arrival.
- Answer phone calls promptly and with a positive attitude.
- Schedule appointments efficiently to enhance patient satisfaction and optimize provider time.
- Prepare daily schedules for each provider and maintain organized patient charts.
- Manage patient flow to minimize wait times and enhance the overall experience.
- Assist patients with any inquiries or needs they may have.
- Keep the reception area tidy and welcoming.
- Foster and maintain professional relationships with referring offices.
- Ensure confidentiality of all patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of one year of customer service experience is required.
- Familiarity with dental terminology is beneficial.
- A friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
- Basic office skills, including typing and filing.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
