Job Description

Great Jones Distilling Co is looking to bring on part time staff to assist with our private events program with potential to train to work regular brunch and bar server shifts. Candidates must have the following:

• Oversees the flow of service and assists in any job on the floor as needed

  Required Skills/Qualifications:

• Maintain pleasant demeanor with staff and guests
• Strong food, wine and spirit knowledge
• Organizational Skills
• Ability to maintain our sanitation standards
• Punctuality
• Professional, polite and reliable

  Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work standing for a minimum period of 8 hours per day
• Periodic bending, kneeling and stretching
• Pull, push, move, carry and lift (at least 50 pounds of force is required)
• Must be able to grasp, turn, and hold objects 

  Specific Accountabilities:

• Must have strong command of all of our private event menus, cocktails & spirits
• Serve and interact with tables
• Oversee beginning & end of shift side work
• Report the ongoings of service to the rest of the management team
• Take on projects as they arise both on the floor and in kitchen
• Set up & break down event furniture, lighting and settings as needed.
