Pharmacy Technician – Sterile Compounding Support – Temp-to-Hire

Location: Tukwila, WA
Compensation: $24–$30 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm
Training Schedule: First 2 weeks, 9:30am–6:00pm
Duration: Minimum 3 months with potential for temp-to-hire

Specialty Medical Staffing has an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician (Sterile Compounding Support) in Tukwila, WA. If you are reliable, detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a hands-on pharmacy environment, we would love to speak with you!

This role is a full-time assignment with the potential for extension or temp-to-hire. Interviews will be conducted by the client, and the position will start as soon as possible for selected candidates. If you are currently scheduled through another client and are interested, please reach out — we can assist with securing coverage for existing commitments.

Description:

• Pull drug and supply orders for sterile compounding needs

• Pull medications that do not require mixing for pharmacist final check

• Support inventory and restocking tasks

• Stand for the duration of the workday while maintaining workflow efficiency

• Work in a colder room environment (layers encouraged)

• Perform occasional lifting up to 30 lbs for restocking purposes

• Maintain accuracy and adherence to workflow procedures to ensure patient safety

Position Requirements:

• State Pharmacy Technician Certification

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Comfortable working in cooler environments

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
