As a Licensed Psychiatric Technician, you will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to psychiatric patients. Your role includes implementing and evaluating care plans, performing assigned tasks, and collaborating with the nursing and multidisciplinary team to support patient well-being. Salary: $41.37 - $41.37/Hourly Qualifications We're seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated professional with: + At least 6 months experience in a psychiatric inpatient setting or equivalent required + 1 year of previous psych tech experience, required + California Psychiatric Technician Licensure required + BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required + Demonstrated ability to provide individual and group activities to psychiatric patients on an acute psychiatric inpatient + Knowledge of psychological functioning and deviations from normal + Knowledge of growth and development throughout the life span + Knowledge of techniques of therapeutic communication + Knowledge of Drug administration + Knowledge of management of assaultive behavior + Knowledge of Evacuation, fire and disaster procedures + Knowledge of HIPAA This opening has the potential to convert to Career.
