Job Description

Pastry cook is responsible for the preparation of pastry prep cold dishes, salads and appetizers. Looking for a chef who specialize in creating visually appealing and delicious cold platters, often incorporating intricate garnishes and decorations.

Responsibilities :  

  • Prepare ingredients and handle baking equipment with   proficiency .  
  • Create pastries, baked goods, and confections following designated recipes.  
  • Skillfully decorate pastries and desserts to ensure appealing and tasteful presentation.  
  • Collaborate with customers to plan and customize desserts and pastries for special occasions.  
  • Monitor baking ingredient inventory and order supplies within budgetary guidelines.  
  • Ensure adherence to safety and health regulations within the pastry section.  

Qualifications:  

  • Possess a certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking, or a related field.  
  • Have at least three years of experience in the food industry as a Pastry Cook, Baker, or in a relevant role.  
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of baking techniques and the pastry-making process.  
  • Showcase   creative ability and artistic skills in cake decoration and dessert presentation.  
  • Display keen attention to detail in all aspects of pastry preparation.  
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation, and nutrition.  
  • Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and evenings when   required .  
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.
