Network Engineer (Telephony Systems) 
TS/SCI Full Scope Poly 
Dulles, VA 

We are seeking a Network Engineer with a background in Telephony Systems to join our engineering team in the Dulles region. This position will be responsible for working across the team enterprise to assist in the management, development, tracking, monitoring, and deployment of technical solutions to address requirements. This individual will work within a small, mission focused team to implement technical solutions to challenging problems. This individual will work autonomously to develop, test, and deploy solutions that address requirements with a particular emphasis on telephony solutions.Core Responsibilities Include:
  • Monitor and Troubleshoot networks
  • Perform or manage integration of commercial voice technologies with PBX
  • Research, test, validate, and deploy new commercial technologies
  • Desktop virtualization
  • Demonstrate the following:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; demonstrated ability to analyze complex situations, determine course of action and act promptly and effectively when problems arise
    • Demonstrated outstanding interpersonal skills and strong oral and written communications skills
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently as well on collaborative teams
    • Maintain appropriate technical training to ensure skills are kept current with evolving technology
    • Performs other duties as assigned at the direction of Project Management
Required Skills
  • Ability to travel on an infrequent, but as needed basis, primarily CONUS
  • Demonstrated understanding of high availability technologies and implementation/ deployment concepts
  • Experience with networking and network security technologies
  • Experience implementing customer IT and Cyber Security best practices
  • Experience with SIP integration to PBX
  • Experience with SIP integration to PBX
Desired Skills (Optional)
  • Experience designing, building, deploying, and maintaining networks
  • Demonstrated understanding of SIEM and security analytical technologies (e.g., Splunk, pcap, Netflow, etc)
  • Experience with Cloud platforms
  • Experience with modern server operating systems and virtualization technologies
  • Experience with commercial voice services such as Microsoft Teams, Google Voice, business VOiP providers and wholesale business VOiP providers
