I'm seeking Psych LPNs for Travel or Local Contracts in Pueblo, CO!

LPN - Psych | $1,966/wk 36+ hrs Weekly

Location: Pueblo, Colorado

Start Date: Mon 11/17 or later

Position: LPN Psychiatric - State Hospital

Schedule:

36-48 hours per week

Shifts: Days or Nights. Must be able to work any day of the week. Block schedule!

Contract Length: 24 weeks

Travel Pay Package Breakdown: Total Weekly Gross (36 hrs): $1,966/week

  • Untaxed Housing Stipend: $770/week

  • Untaxed Meals & Incidentals Stipend: $476/week

  • Hourly Rate (Taxable): $20/hour

  • Overtime Rate: $53/hour

All stipends are compliant with GSA guidelines and IRS tax-free requirements for travelers.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of acute, inpatient psych experience

  • State hospital experience and CPI knowledge or training a plus

  • Active Colorado LPN License or Compact License

  • BLS certification through AHA

Strong communication, de-escalation, and patient observation skills

The Psychiatric or Mental/Behavioral Health LPN is responsible and accountable for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the psychiatric unit of a hospital, mental health/behavioral health hospital, or they can be responsible for care in community settings.

The LPN must demonstrate the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with the supervision of a Registered Nurse and in collaboration with the care team.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current LPN license in state of assignment

  • 1 year experience in a psychiatric care setting preferred

  • Current CPR if applicable

  • TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
