A medical center in central Illinois has an opportunity for a CRNA to provide ongoing coverage.
About the Opportunity:
Schedule: 8-hour days, 5 days per week
No call shifts
Patient Volume: 10 per day
Setting: OR and outpatient surgery center
23 total ORs
Will be covering ASC and GI unit
Must be comfortable handling healthy peds and all GI cases
Cases: Bread & butter, GI, plastics, ortho, gyn
Care team model
Medical direction 1:4
EMR: Epic
Paid travel & expenses

Board Certified
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Active unencumbered physician Illinois state license
Graduate from a fully accredited CRNA program
One year of work experience as a CRNA
One year of EMR experience
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
