Summary

Creative Beginnings is looking to add another experienced teacher to our team! CBLC is currently hiring for a lead School age position. This is a seasonal position for summer.
Employee must be flexible with availability, have reliable transportation, have a high school diploma, pass a background check, and MUST ENJOY BEING IN THE CLASSROOM! This position requires you to be comfortable with the responsibility of watching children outside of the center during frequent field trips.
Lead teacher will have the support of administration, a floater, and other lead teachers throughout the center. Our staff are expected to be professional inside and outside of the classroom with their dress, attitude and communication.
Creative Beginnings believes in supporting the whole child, but we also support the whole staff! We provide continued education opportunities, leadership opportunities, and overall opportunities for growth!

Duties

• Create weekly lesson plan
• Maintain a clean classroom environment
• Maintain a safe classroom environment
• Promote healthy choices
• Consistent communication with families regarding the development and well being of their child while in the center
• Maintain and clean and safe learning center (in-house cleaning duties)
• Monitor and keep children safe during field trips
• Maintain a routine with school agers
• Assist in other classrooms if needed

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Reliable transportation
• Medical/Physical
• First Aid and CPR certified
• Previous experience with school age children
