Description As an integral member of the Research Pharmacy team, you'll work closely with study teams, physicians, and other staff to manage investigational drugs in strict alignment with study protocols. You play a crucial role in the safe and effective administration of therapies within clinical research settings, advancing treatments that may impact patient care for years to come! Reporting to the Pharmacy Supervisor and Pharmacy Research Manager, you will perform various pharmacist functions pertaining to investigational drugs and clinical research. Some of these functions include: + Conduct all protocol-related duties including: study set-up, drug dispensation, study monitoring, close-out activities + Perform IV and PO medication dispensing activities to deliver outstanding patient care + Support the Pharmacy Supervisor in ensuring compliance to rules, policies and regulations + Oversee support staff + Cultivate and model professional, collaborative relationship with pharmacy staff, medical professionals, support, and administrative staff + Demonstrate effective problem-solving and organizational skills + Adapt to the challenges of a rapidly changing health care environment + Advance a patient-centric focus to treat illness with integrity, innovation, and commitment At UCLA Health, passionate clinicians in a wide range of disciplines have enabled us to become a world-renowned health system with four award-winning hospitals and more than 270 community clinics throughout Southern California. Required to have the ability to travel to multiple work sites within UCLA Health.
