Job Title: HR Coordinator

Description:
Primarily will be supporting recruitment activities at first - coordinating interviews, following up on feedback, following up on offer approvals, walking candidates through the onboarding process, coordinating the new hire orientations.

Summary:
The HR Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the HR department with administrative and operational tasks. This position assists in the coordination of HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, and compliance. The HR Coordinator ensures that HR processes run smoothly and efficiently, providing exceptional service to employees and managers alike.
Key Responsibilities:
• Recruitment & Onboarding:
o Assist in the recruitment process by coordinating activities with relevant stakeholders (recruiting, shared services, and hiring managers) regarding job postings, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and processing offers.
o Coordinate and conduct new employee orientation and onboarding processes.
o Prepare and maintain new hire paperwork and ensure compliance with company policies.
•HR Data Management:
o Maintain employee records and ensure that HR databases are up to date and accurate.
o Generate and analyze HR reports as needed, including turnover, attendance, and other key metrics.
o Ensure confidentiality and security of employee information.
• Compliance & Reporting:
o Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
o Coordinate and maintain compliance with HR audits and record-keeping requirements.
• HR Projects:
o Support the HR team in special projects and initiatives, such as policy updates, employee surveys, diversity and inclusion programs, and current process updates.
o Assist in the development and implementation of HR programs and initiatives.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in HR or administrative roles.
• Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
• Experience with recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Knowledge of HR compliance.
• Familiarity with HR software and tools, such as Workday and Kronos.
Preferred Certifications:
• PHR/SPHR or SHRM certification
