We are seeking an experienced Golang Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices-based applications. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development experience, exposure to modern cloud-native technologies, and the ability to work collaboratively within Agile/Scrum teams while delivering end-to-end solutions.
Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Golang .
Build and integrate backend services using Go, Java, JSON, Kafka, and NoSQL databases .
Work with relational and legacy databases such as PostgreSQL, DB2, and IMS .
Develop and manage file-processing solutions using VSAM .
Create and maintain API specifications using Swagger/OpenAPI and YAML .
Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes .
Compile, run, and manage batch processes using JCL .
Monitor and troubleshoot applications using tools such as Splunk, ELF, and Postman .
Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Collaborate closely with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Own end-to-end deliverables, from requirements analysis through development, testing, and deployment.
4-6+ years of hands-on experience in backend development , with strong proficiency in Golang .
Solid experience with SQL and backend data stores ( DB2, IMS, PostgreSQL ).
Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
Experience with Kafka , NoSQL databases , and API development.
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes .
Familiarity with JCL and mainframe or legacy system integration.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments .
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Experience working in hybrid enterprise environments combining modern and legacy systems.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms.
Prior client-facing or consulting experience.
Hybrid work model with onsite presence at the Phoenix, AZ office as required.
