Job Description

American Welding and Gas, Inc. ("AWG") has an immediate opportunity for a Fill Plant Operator in our Orlando, FL location .

This position will be primarily responsible for accurately picking, stocking, counting, and adjusting inventory but will also assist with pre-fill inspection of cylinders, filling, labeling and analysis or quarantine of cylinders prior to release for shipment as well as loading/unloading product for transport.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately and quickly.
• Operate forklift in warehouse setting.
• Palletize and label overstock so that it may be handled properly.
• Tag all orders to ensure that the order goes to the proper location for shipping.
• Stock inbound merchandise.
• Release and verify validity of inbound purchase orders.
• Properly log and process inbound parcel shipments.
• Restock consumables and prepare for the next business day.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles.
• Read, understand, and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
• Ensure compliance with CGMP, Hazmat, OSHA, DOT and other regulatory agencies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED.
• 1-3 years of previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Knowledge related to welding and industrial gases a plus.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug-screen.
• Ability to lift 50-75 pounds.
• Good customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be comfortable using computers.
