Our client, a leading provider of logistics equipment solutions , is seeking an experienced part-time Field Operations/M&R Inspector to work at their Jacksonville facility. This high-visibility position will focus on maintaining high standards of equipment safety, roadworthiness, and regulatory compliance.
Main Responsibilities:
Conduct post-repair chassis inspections.
Track clearance status of all equipment.
Record results of all inspection points in detailed spreadsheet.
Report all activity to Operations Director and teammates.
Work with mechanics, depot and leasing company to resolve problems and failed inspections.
Main Requirements:
Report to site 2-3 days per week for 8 hours each day.
Valid Driver's License and IICL Chassis Inspector's Certification.
Min. 5 years in chassis Maintenance & Repair.
Knowledge of DOT, FMCSA and all other regulations.
Understanding of cargo transportation/logistics industry.
Must be able to physically inspect all chassis.Computer savvy, including MS Excel, Word, and email. Effective communication skills.
Diligent and able to work independently.
