Job Description

Kinetic Events Staffing is in search of event staff for an upcoming tech conference taking place in San Francisco from Tuesday, October 28th to Wednesday, October 29th. 

This is a great opportunity for those looking to join our roster as the Bay Area is an active market for us, and we will have additional opportunities in 2025. We provide a fun, collaborative, and positive work environment!

Job Description 

• This event is taking place at Fort Mason (2 Marina Blvd, San Francisco, CA 94123). 
• Conference staff will support smooth operations by assisting with wayfinding, registration, session scanning, ushering, and general attendee guidance. Positions will be both indoors and outdoors - must be comfortable working outside! 
• Pay is $24/hour - we pay weekly via direct deposit! 
  
• Free street parking or parking reimbursable post-event with receipt. 
• Staff will need to wear their own black slacks, long-sleeved black button-down down, and black professional shoes. 

Shift Dates & Times (Must be available to work both days!) 

• Tuesday, 10/28/25:  Most shifts start at 7 am-730am and go as late as 5:30 pm. Shifts will be 5-10.5 hours.
• Wednesday, 10/29/25:   Most shifts start at 7 am-7:30 am and go as late as 6 pm. Shifts will be 5.5-9.5 hours.

The more flexibility and availability you have on these dates, the more likely you will be hired to work! 

Job Requirements

• Must have a considerable background in front-facing customer service roles. 
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a standard shift (typically 4-12 hours), except during designated rest breaks and meal periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Must be punctual and reliable for all scheduled shifts. 
• Must have proficiency in English with strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Professional demeanor, appearance, and actions while on the job.
• Limited phone use during shifts. 
• Must adhere to all legal regulations and company policies set by Kinetic Events Staffing.

Ideal Candidates

• Previous event or hospitality experience is preferred. 
• Flexible and adaptable as job duties and schedules may change based on client needs. 
• Tech-savvy and willing to learn new tasks and skills. 
• Local to Bay Area. Kinetic Events/our clients do not provide travel reimbursements.
