Job Description

About OpenAI:
OpenAI is an AI research and deployment company committed to ensuring that artificial general intelligence (AGI) benefits all of humanity. We push the boundaries of AI capabilities while prioritizing safety, ethical use, and human needs. Our mission requires a team that represents a diversity of perspectives, voices, and experiences.

About the Role:
We’re seeing enterprises worldwide embrace AI to surge employee productivity, automate operations, and build new AI-powered solutions. Even organizations that have traditionally been cautious are moving with urgency to adopt AI and realize its potential for creating significant impact.

In this role, you will own the regional and account-level marketing strategy that fuels our sales pipeline for enterprise solutions. This is a role for a seasoned field marketer who can spearhead creative in-person and virtual engagements, design and execute integrated Account-Based Marketing (ABM) programs, and ensure that our messaging resonates with targeted buyer segments. You’ll be a central partner to our enterprise sales team—translating high-level product narratives into localized initiatives that accelerate deal cycles, grow adoption, and deepen customer relationships.

In this Role You Will:

  • Drive experiential events & programs: Execute creative field events (e.g., executive events, digital experiences) that engage enterprise buyers at various stages

  • Develop an ABM-driven field strategy: Design campaigns for high-value accounts, leveraging insights and predictive data to accelerate pipeline

  • Collaborate with sales & cross-functional teams: Serve as the marketing liaison to regional sales, product marketing, and customer success to ensure seamless go-to-market execution

  • Own pipeline reporting & optimization: Track performance metrics, propose improvements, and tie field programs directly to revenue goals

  • Manage budget & resources: Oversee budgets, vendors, and tools to maximize ROI for field marketing initiatives

  • Champion OpenAI’s mission: Incorporate responsible AI messaging and customer education in all field campaigns

You Will Thrive In The Role If You Have:

  • Enterprise B2B Field/Regional Marketing Experience: 8+ years of experience in field roles within technology companies delivering large-scale, pipeline-focused programs to enterprise clients. This includes overseeing in-person and digital events, integrated Account-Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns, and other initiatives designed to accelerate enterprise sales cycles.

  • Data-Driven Decision Maker: Skilled in using analytics to optimize campaigns and demonstrate clear ROI.

  • Complex Sales Cycle Understanding: Ability to align marketing programs with multi-touch enterprise buyer journeys.

  • Bias to Action: Comfortable iterating quickly, testing bold ideas, and executing stand-out programs.

  • Collaborative Communicator: Adept at partnering with sales leadership, cross-functional teams, and executive stakeholders.

  • AI Enthusiast: Passionate about AI, with the ability to articulate how advanced AI solutions add value for global enterprises.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AI Fluency: Experience and knowledge of AI capabilities, including opportunities for enterprise-level integration. Ability to convey these benefits in a compelling way to varied stakeholders.

  • Collaborative Leadership: An egoless, team-oriented leadership style, with proven success guiding cross-functional teams and driving large-scale, results-focused programs in complex organizations.

  • Innovative Marketing Culture: Demonstrated track record of inspiring a culture of experimentation, creativity, and data-driven decision-making within technology companies.

  • Global Enterprise Impact: Experience partnering with multinational enterprises or portfolio brands, showcasing the ability to navigate diverse regional landscapes and cultivate executive relationships.
