Job Description

Smaller, growing company is expanding and looking for an experienced and motivated Engineering Manager to lead a small team of engineers and drive process improvements across our manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with deep technical knowledge and strong team management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance, setting goals, and monitoring performance to ensure team and project success.

• Define technical objectives, set priorities, and create realistic project timelines.

• Identify and implement manufacturing process improvements aimed at enhancing quality and reducing costs.

• Contribute to various engineering functions and projects as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing, specifically with metal component fabrication and assembly processes.

• Proficiency in operating equipment such as CNC wire EDMs, CNC grinders, lathes, and other machine tools.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to customers, leadership, and team members.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (other relevant degrees will be considered).

• Positive, collaborative attitude with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and analytical mindset.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with rare earth permanent magnets or materials with similar physical properties, such as ceramics or ferrites.

• Familiarity with the JobBOSS ERP system.
