District Manager, OR If interested in this opportunity, please complete our culture index survey at the link below: Location: OR – Home Based Position Overview: The District Manager will have the responsibility of developing relationships with the top On and Off Premise accounts throughout the state of Oregon. They will need to properly execute the plans and sales priorities in the marketplace, ensuring the delivery of consistent growth, innovation expansion and the execution of our brand programs. Effective relationship building, education and sales leadership with our wholesale partner will be an integral part of this position. Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

• Calling on the top On and Off Premise accounts in the state of Oregon
• Attaining state sales goals and objectives
• Targeting and developing new accounts currently not called on
• Ride along with sales reps and DM’s to increase product knowledge and develop rapport
• Manage inventory, vintages, product rotation and purchasing
• Wholesaler education and information; team meetings, GSMs and special events
• Communicate market conditions with Regional Manager weekly
• Participate in weekly, monthly and tertile meetings and business reviews
• Prepare and execute Supplier Market Visits; Dinners, tastings, sales meetings, education

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 5 years of distributor or supplier experience
• Wine retail sales experience preferred
• A foundation of wine intelligence and the ability to educate others
• Competitive and Charismatic personality
• Strong communication, both written and verbal
• Superior organizational skills, detail oriented, must be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and in a dynamic, high energy, team-oriented atmosphere.
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft office
• Ability to lift 35 pounds
• Safe driving record
• Must be able to present in front of large groups of people.
