Do you want an opportunity to serve with compassion and help others in our community? We seek patient and dedicated caregivers to assist adults with developmental disabilities in their neighborhood group- home. Our Caregivers / DSPs provid e support to adults living in CILA homes (Community Integrated Living Arrangements) with around - the - clock care . Developmental Foundations, a family owned company providing quality residential services since 1986, is hiring Caregivers / DSPs for our group-homes in Oblong, IL .

Pay:

• Starting at $17.75/hour

• DSP training is provided and paid. Once trained, you will become a certified DD Aide and will be added to the Health Care Worker Registry (HCWR)

Qualifications:

• DSP or CNA experience beneficial, but not required
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred, but not required
• Entry level position. DSP training is provided and paid!

Requirements:

• High school diploma/signed high school transcript, including graduation date/G.E.D. required. High school completion or equivalency required
• Successfully complete and pass background check
• Weekend availability is required

Responsibilities:

• Companionship
• Housekeeping and meal preparation
• Assistance with medication
• Assistance with personal care, including bathing and toileting
• Ability to stay alert and responsive
