DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare patient for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping patient
- Provide information to patients and employees by answering questions
- Support dental care delivery by preparing treatment room, patient, instruments and materials
- Assemble instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to treatment area, positions instruments for dentist’s access, suctioning and passing instruments
- Provide materials by selecting, mixing, and placing materials on instruments and in the patient’s mouth
- Provide diagnostic information
- Maintain patient appearance and ability to masticate by fabricating temporary restorations and cleaning and polishing removable appliances
- Help dentist manage dental and medical emergencies
- Educate patients on giving oral hygiene, plaque control and postoperative instructions
- Documents dental care
- Keeps information confidential
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Ensure operation of dental equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements, following manufacturer instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories and evaluating new equipment
PAY | Starts at $16/hr.+ Depending on the level of Experience
SCHEDULE | Office hours are Monday-Saturday, 7am-7pm. Hiring for part time and full time.
REQUIREMENTS | Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen. Dental experience required.
