Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Max Pay: $23/hr
Job Description :
Required Skill Set :
Prior experience with welding may be beneficial. Experience with brazing is preferred.
Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures
Complete required training to obtain certified operator skill/stamp
Performing brazing work
Set up/adjust brazing equipment
Apply flux to the joint area before brazing
Apply/control the filler metal or alloy
Heat metal components to the required temperature
Clean/prepare the metal surfaces before brazing
Identify/troubleshoot brazing issues
Perform post-brazing finishing work steps
Inspect/assess the quality of brazed joints
Collaborate with team members, including engineers and team leads
Maintain accurate records for future reference
Record/document the work performed
Record/document accurate timekeeping
Perform daily PM's in work area, as applicable
Read and understand blueprints/drawing/other specifications
Select compatible filler metal/alloy per the materials
Perform Leak Test
Education Qualification :
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
