**Responsibilities** **Northridge Hospital Medical Center** is seeking a highly motivated and experienced **Boiler Operator/Stationary Engineer Lic** to join our team. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our boiler room, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and safety standards. + Operate and maintain high-pressure boilers, pumps, and other related equipment. + Monitor and adjust boiler operations to ensure optimal efficiency and safety. + Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment. + Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions. + Maintain accurate records of boiler operations and maintenance activities. + Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and codes. + Work effectively as part of a team. **Qualifications** + High School Diploma or GED equivalent. + Must have a L.A. City Steam Engineer license of 500 H.P. or greater. + Minimum of two (2) years plant operations experience and one (1) year in a healthcare setting. + Operate steam boilers, chillers and auxiliary plant equipment. + Fire Safety card required within 90 days of employment. **This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.** **Overview** Founded in 1955, Dignity Health - Northridge Hospital Medical Center is a 394-bed, acute care, nonprofit community hospital located in Northridge, California.
