What You'll Do:

Accurately enter patient charges into corresponding accounts.

Ensure timely and precise charge entry for physician groups.

Identify and correct billing issues to ensure clean claims submission (electronic or paper).

Monitor billing rejection trends and report issues to management.

Assist in training team members and serve as a resource for staff.

Maintain confidentiality of patient financial records and sensitive data.

Adhere to ethical business practices and compliance guidelines.

Provide professional and timely responses to inquiries from patients, providers, payers, and team members.

Participate in special projects and other work-related tasks as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

High school diploma or GED required; a certificate from a college or technical school is a plus.

Prior experience in medical billing or a related field.

Familiarity with EPIC software (preferred).

Strong attention to detail and the ability to spell medical terminology accurately.

Ability to type 60 WPM efficiently.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
