Since its founding in 2019 in Silicon Valley, Ume Tea has experienced significant growth and established itself as one of the leading tea shops in America known for its emphasis on quality, craftsmanship, and customer experience

We're looking for a Boba Tea Barista to join our team!

UME Tea is a chain store in the Bay Area,LA,ZA and IL, and we currently have 20 stores and counting! We also are in need of Tea Baristas that LOVE boba and everything about it.

UME Tea has been serving the Bay Area since 2019, and we are always innovating and testing for new drinks and snacks. We wish that everyone could taste a little bit of our hard work!

Our Ultimate goal is to have an UME Tea shop in every state across the nation, and to serve more people.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Be able to follow and complete tasks listed by the store manager.
• Place \date\ stamps on prepped items accordingly.
• Wash, cut, and categorise fruits.
• Tools cleaning, trashes, and sanitise
• Inventory count on material counts daily.
• Inspect equipment cleanness and make sure its readiness.
• Provide quality help while preparing tea ingredients, make sure of kitchen cleanness.
• Opening duties such as prepping ingredients.
• Balancing register and other closing duties.
• Stocking cups, teas, utensils, etc.
• Cooking boba, cutting fruit, cleaning.
• Following food and safety guidelines.
• Janitorial task such as mopping, cleaning.
• Front desk tasks, engaging to customer and friendliness, and sincerity.
• MOST IMPORTANT - making tea drinks

Hiring Requirement:

• Having good communication, and people skills.
• Be able to work in a fast paced environment, and have good teamwork.
• Have some form of knowledge of products related to teas.
• Be able to work legally in the US
• You need to be able to communicate in Mandarin.
