L'imprimerie Bakery is growing and hiring great people to join our talented team of bakers. We’re doing some exciting new things and hiring the talent we need to reach our goals.

If you don’t know, we’ve been an artisanal French bakery in Bushwick for a decade. Under new ownership, we’re innovating to bring renewed excitement to our menu.

We produce artisanal bread, French viennoiseries, and a small, yet mighty roster of pastries. We sell what we make to both our own café customers and to our growing collection of wholesale clients. We are busy.

We value bakers who respect their craft, their fellow bakers, and are willing to learn and grow in a hands-on, innovative, and fast-paced environment.

Minimum qualities to be considered as an applicant:

• Self-motivated
• Quick learner
• Problem Solver
• Reliable
• Team-player
• Great communicator
• Organized
• Detail-oriented

Strong Consideration for candidates who:

• Developed their craft in a bakery or professional pastry kitchen for 2+ years
• Are available for full-time work (may include weekends)
• Are early risers and enjoy early morning shifts
• Put in the work to achieve excellent results

Move to the front of the line if you:

• Have formal training as a baker
• Know your way around a dough sheeter
• Can shape croissants with your eyes closed (not that you would, but you could)
• Take responsibility for showing up on time as scheduled
• Develop your own bread and pastry recipes – for funsies

• Are unreliable
