Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours/week)
Salary: Starting wage from $19.00 per hour.
Schedule: Rotating shifts that include weekends, holidays, and occasional alarm response.

Wash Bay Attendant at Canada Packers, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our transportation equipment is clean, disinfected, and ready for safe use.
This is a physically active role where you’ll contribute directly to our biosecurity and operational goals while working in a supportive, safety-first environment. If you’re reliable, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced setting, this could be the perfect fit for you.
What you’ll be doing: Working closely with the team, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day cleaning and sanitation of trucks and trailers. This includes a variety of physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, bending, lifting (up to 25kg), and continuous walking. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Washing and disinfecting trucks and trailers
- Scraping and cleaning trailer interiors
- Safely operating lift deck trailers
- Removing chase boards, shovels, and scrapers from trailers
- Washing the walls of the wash bay
- General cleanup of the building and yard
- Following all biosecurity procedures and company protocols
What you’ll bring: - Grade 10 education or equivalent
- Strong commitment to providing exemplary service and maintaining cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
